| Troy Kelley's new book entitled I DON'T PROPOSE TO WALK INTO ANYBODY'S GRAVEYARD, THE STORY OF THE BISBEE MASSACRE is well-told story. Troy has used primary source material to shed new light on this incident, and included numerous photos along with the famous one of Heith hanging. The valuable appendices are the Tombstone Republican reportage of the trial and Judge Pinney's sentencing speech. The author has also followed up the later lives of those who were involved in the capture and the trial of the Bisbee killers- all in all, get this book if you can. Mark Dworkin August 2, 2004 |
